Being called "a bit simple" is far worse and really if your going to pick on an insult maybe this should draw your attention. By then again double standards if rift here.

Not that it matters and only means a few more insults will come my way, but I have Mathematics degree and multiple accounting certificates which statistically are some of the hardest courses you can take.
I’d much rather be called a bit simple than a Kopite. And congratulations on having a degree (I have two but that’s not important or indeed relevant to the conversation). I think you’re out of order calling someone a Kopite for disagreeing with you.

I didn't call him a kopite for disagreeing with me.

And if you read through the thread the only person I have disagreed with is kev. The interactions I've with what seems to be 7/8 people was nothing but snide comments at me. Which is a theme that is sadly to common in this forum these days.

Even though not one time have you disagreed with what I've said. I mean what have I said on this topic you don't agree with?

I don’t think we disagree fundamentally, my own take is that it’s basically a non issue. There are no male boxers battering women (despite Kev’s odd claim) and I don’t think trans people are a danger using the female/male toilets. The only thing I disagreed with you was I felt you were trying to police what people post. People are often sarcastic and childish on here (myself included) so I wouldn’t take any of the comments personally or even seriously most of the time.

You are right we don't disagree fundamentally.

However I feel you have like Xizors just cherry pick certain issues. And using over simplistic answers to the above as actually trans people lives are more difficult as a result of these two issues in the public sphere and in the mainstream media dirty hands (right wing TVs shows/YouTube with Musk/X and JK Rowling) resulting in a rise of hate against them. So saying it is a non issue doesn't see the impact on trans day to day lives. I have been told from the trans people I know and others on here who trans friends I'm sure are the same.

When you have to consider I actually have mentioned a far range of issues. I just feel that the responses are of a different nature to content I post. Let's put it this way if I posting about kids getting bombed and killed. Would I expect to be responded with a sarcastic response? If not why should I be responded with a sarcastic response about trans suicide rates or long waiting times for transition or rise in hate crimes or fearful of using public spaces, travelling alone, going out in the dark, fear being excluded from sports or ostracized or abused by parents who disagree with participation etc etc.

If someone doesn't like me fine. I don't care. But if someone just because they don't like me decides they are going to discredit what I post and especially therefore try and reduce the importance of the issues I raise then yes I think it is wrong (which is policing the forum telling others to ignore me which is the same argument you have posed against me, telling others to try not to disend into chaos every 5 minutes in this thread and be serious for a page or two at least). As I have said repeatedly my views are the right side logically and ethically more importantly to me I think need to be made aware to others.

Oh look, the first transwoman about to turn up in Congress and wouldn't you know it, one of the Republican attention-seekers (Nancy Mace) wants to make it illegal for anyone working in the Capitol or House offices to use "any single-sex facility that doesn't correspond to their biological sex" and has tabled a bill to that effect.

Incredble work, America. Enshrining discrimination against a single person into actual law would be an amazing move for the 'Land of the Free'.

Now I wonder if Democrats can successfully push back on this (you know, working to give a direct colleague a modicum of dignity) without having the media howl about Wokery and "the Left focusing too much on culture war issues".

2 have literally just won gold at the Olympics, then in MMA there's Alana McLaughlin (ex-Special Forces as a man) amd Fallon Fox.

Bishop TT just when you say it is a non issue, the same day this gets published. Maybe you read the tweet from Sarah McBride and tell me it isn't an issue?

Typical laughing emoji response

As I have said making these issues a joke have awful consequences down the line. I mean this was written in a Fallon Fox article over 9 years ago. When she was the first openly out transgender person in MMA.

It's not the first time you've ducked this question. I answered you yesterday, perhaps you can show the same courtesy?
Rita I am raising issues in a thread that matters to me. Same as anyone else is allowed to do in others threads. Why is me raising these issues such an issue for you?

If you don't like my points please raise your concerns.
