THe instances that bother you are tiny, why not talk about male-women domestic violence? Drugs cheats in sport? Violence in prison? Similar situations that actually occur regularly.

We don't communicate much,certainly never about TV, but when that Dr Who episode was on last year with Donna's trans daughter they made a special point of badgering me about what I thought about it all. Obviously it started off with "What did you think of the episode" but it was obvious where it was going so I just stopped replying.

I don't know why they're spoiling for a fight over this. It's likely just a chance to be nasty to a minority and claim some specious "women's rights" noble cause behind it all.

Look at the way you have sarcastically placed "women's rights" in inverted commas, as if the ideology being spoken about doesn't actually impinge on women's rights, and it's all just a bigoted ruse to 'attack' people that are trans. As if.

The ideology itself is flawed. It claims to reject gender stereotypes, but will then state that a little boy playing with My Little Pony is an indicator that the little boy may be a little girl. The ideology is literally underpinned by gender stereotypes, and as mentioned before, there's a homophobic aspect to it all. The male teenager that likes to apply makeup isn't gay, he's actually a heterosexual transexual that is sexually attracted to men.

Read what's being written here. There are no protests outside the Masquerade saying "Stop trans people having fun". Nobody is saying that.

If the trans rights community were demanding the right to be left alone, then there would be no news because nobody really cares. But they’re demanding that society ditches millennia of custom and convention, and indeed biology, to maintain an absolute obsession with postmodern nonsense.

I think it’s horrible that old nana types like JK Rowling have been bullied to the maximum just because she’s got the backbone to say sorry but I don’t agree with your ideological standpoint. There's 1 side that is pushing the issue on Trans and pronouns, and its not the people who don't agree with it. But as soon as you state that you don’t, be prepared to feel the wrath.

That pretty much goes for any viral so called progressive subject. The much more vocal Social Justice Warriors are the instigators in most cases and proceed to shout louder when challenged and resort to dismissive ad hominem attacks to follow up.

And Doctor Who is a prime example of that fact. "We are going to force this down your throats whether you like it or not, and if you don't like it, don't watch it. But if you don't watch it, you're an 'ist' and a 'phobe' and it's not fair that the ratings are god awful and its all your fault. Humph"

You haven't been reading my posts if you think I am denying a trans person's right to exist. I'm loath to repeat my strongly held belief that they should be allowed to live a life free from discrimination because I've already repeated it several times.

As mentioned before, transexuals in Thailand are not under attack, they're an accepted part of life in Thailand. However, Thai society isn't wrapping itself up in knots with transgender ideology. They don't ignore or object to the trans aspect of a transexual. I think the Thai's have it right, and that the West has it wrong.

This is where media really affects issues, as shows like Piers Morgan purposely "Try and Address" topics that they feel debate will help these matters. When really it is as effective as going on Jeremy Kyle back in the day to resolve relationships. Its all a ploy for entertainment and to create arguments and chaos.

All I can say is, I hope people don't just think of me as a gay man. As really it is not that important. Same for Trans they don't want the limelight they don't seek to be threating to women in public spaces, most don't seek to be professional athletes "stealing" medals of women.

I know Grindr is a more laughed at space for some. But if you knew the reality of being trans on a space for LGBT+ then you would know a high majority guys after Trans are discreet. And Trans individuals put themselves at great risk of being hurt by men and are far more likely be abused without the ability to seek true justice for crimes against them. Then they are to be abuser of women in public spaces.

I don’t get this either. Take the UK for example. There has been continual cuts to public services, companies pumping sewage into rivers, no one even bothering to cut plastic use and waste, rise in violence against girls and women, a growth in an increasingly emboldened far right etc etc. Real things that affect us now and will continue to do so for future generations but some people get pent up over an issue that only affects them in hypothetical scenarios and in truth makes little to no difference to their day to day life.
