That is the wrong way to look at it. I mean, I was born a man and I am still a man, that isn't an ideology just in the same way somebody who knows that they don't feel comfortable in their own body is not feeling that way in ideological way. They are feeling like that because they feel like that, this is not a choice they are making.

From my point of view the issue has been addressed. It is the issue of saying it is an ideology, using words such as 'morph', using a small subset of the community to punish and degrade the rest of that community.

Nothing wrong with not liking it, it is not a agree/disagree situation with how they feel though. The act of allowing them to feel like a woman/man has been turned into a political tool and people lap it up because they don't understand it and some may shouting a bit too loud because they want to hide their own feelings. I am sure I heard recently that the majority of US searches for transexual porn was in historically red states.

It really is an ideology. It's a postmodernist ideology that goes against millennia of custom and convention, and indeed science. It's an ideology that many people disagree with.

I'm all for TRANS rights tbh, i.e the right for trans people to be free from discrimination. But I don't think we should ignore the TRANS in trans rights. You can be trans but you can't morph into the opposite sex, it's not possible, and only the postmodernists would argue otherwise.

You make a good point in referring to the historic plight of gay rights. Where was all this postmodern nonsense back in the 80’s when the LGB community actually had some really bad stuff to be dealing with?

The reason there were was no trans activism back then was because the trans community was considered to be part of the gay community, and I think this is correct. I don’t think that being an effeminate boy is an indicator that the little boy may actually be a little girl. He might be gay, he might not be, but he hasn’t acquired the ability to morph into the opposite sex. He remains an effeminate BOY.

The 1980’s LGB community were dealing with pure oppression and all kinds of other stuff, and my understanding is that they were saying ‘Let us be, and leave us alone”, which is more than fair enough. But this new ideology is fundamentally based on a distortion of reality that actually has massive consequences in society, and it’s an ideology that the authorities are literally insisting that you abide by… or else!

OK, maybe you do mean morph in its literal sense but I feel that it may be a bit more of a context thing and the rest of the words around it imply a choice. There is no choice.

Why is the bill a bad thing, exactly? Is it no different to any kind of change of legal status, i.e. becoming a citizen if a country allows you to have different rights, etc. than were maybe just a resident? Getting married allows you to have different rights than being single. In some countries being religious/non-religious allows you to have different legal rights.

It was blocked by Westminster.

I could write an essay on why such legislation would be dangerous, but I can't be arsed. To be brief, it erodes women's rights, and brings about major safeguarding issues.

THe instances that bother you are tiny, why not talk about male-women domestic violence? Drugs cheats in sport? Violence in prison? Similar situations that actually occur regularly.

It seems such a strange thing to get hung up on and, unfortunately, is a cause pushed by many right-wing idiots. That is why I question your motive tbh
