Greatest TV show ever

Will be utterly devastated when it ends

One thing, when there doing there king in the north bit, what's that look about that little finger gives Sansa

Because uhhh.....he lived in a tower. And went right off the balcony. Then Cersei looks at his body and commands it burned.

Surprised she just didn't have her frankenstein reanimate him.
God knows what I was looking at when that happened. Just rewatched it. lol

I think the writers have made a little bit of a balls up with the story because although they are planning to run less episodes, I feel like the story is still going to be stretched out far too much. Dany off to westeros with grey joys tyrells dothraki mereen unsullied and dragons has pretty much hastened up her storyline all of a sudden which means she has to be on the throne by the end of the next series. It also kinda narrows the show down with the north allied and lannisters now all alone in the south with everyone else bearing down on them in ships. Means baelon and his story will be simply a side attraction to fill an episode up and serve a dramatic death for theon or someone.

I liked the idea with the starks now. I got the impression that sansa planned to be lady stark and all of a sudden they are rallying to John instead. I think there will be something there before the end with sansa dyinget.

But yeah, as finales go it was a fantastic ending which I enjoyed. My only gripe is how fast they will have to go and hiw much dead episodes will have to fill the running now to make sure they stretch it out.

13 episodes left. According to someone who knows someone who heard something that someone read about an interview with the show 'creators'

yeah 7 then 6. But considering where the story is now and how they have streamlined it all I wonder how they can make it last that long. Dany is coming to take the throne and I can't imagine kings landing has any allies left to defend itself. The north are in no position to go to war either with the north being the focus so it means a dany army with dragons armies and two of the lannisters enemies isn't going to last that long.

I did like the mad queen angle no matter how predictable thst was. Essentially repeating history yet it will be a targaryian to take the throne this time. I feel Jamie had resentment not just with what she had done but also that he did not become king instead. Might be wrong on that though.

But yeah, how do you stretch 13 episodes when the south is about to be taken and the North is about to have the final battle of the story?

they can drag out 1 thing for 5-6 episodes easily,

i imagine there will be some big battles coming up i.e.

1. euron against theon and yara greyjoy with dany's help

2. the north v the ice king

3. the lannisters v dorne and tyrells

4. brann and whatever purpose he has, presumably as the last male stark he will play an important role in the outcome of the war

5. sam and whatever purpose he has

6. Dany v Casterly Rock

7. Arya and her new ninja abilities
