Good way to finish the series in my opinion. Sets up the next season very nicely indeed.

Only complaint I have is that the wildfire didn't do nearly enough damage. It's supposed to be this hugely flammable material, almost like a green napalm. And there are supposedly caches around the entirety of King's Landing, yet the blast seemed very much contained to the Sept and the surrounding area. Realistically (as realistic as a discussion about magic fire in a fantasy tv show gets anyway) King's Landing should have been utterly wrecked.
 
if the sand snakes are coming back next season I hope they change the actresses, these ones are useless.

Get dragon lady some acting lessons aswell.

Well, I could try to get myself all worked up about how bad that episode was, however I will just go with:

AWESOME!

Let it be for it is.

Jon is Ice, Dany is Fire. Together they will crush the white walkers.

LADY FRICKIN' MORMONT!!!!! ARYA FRICKIN' STARK!!!! HOOYAH!!!!!

Also, I have predicted Tommen's death for about the last 4 episodes (kept saying to the wife that Tommen will die and Cersei will be left childless and the "Baratheon" line will end). Although I thought he was gonna go with the Sparrow in the Sept.

Can't actually believe I have to wait another year to see where it all goes.

For a series overall.....6/10 but 2 episodes ranks as 'up there' for me ( HOLD THE DOOR!!!!! and the Bar-steward battle)

It was hard to make out, but it sounded like she said:

"His name is Aerys ..."

So technically that would make him Aerys Rivers now.

Like how they cut away so even lip readers can't make it out. Also guess the maid in the room is Wylla.

The Queen of Thorns in that scene was pure fan service, she told them all off and didn't let them get a word in. Probably my favourite scene. Then the Arya one.

I believe most people online believe it is "Aegon", hence "Jon"
 
No surprise the best 3 episodes in GoT have been Hardhome,Battle of the Bastards and this episode The Winds Of Winter have all been done by the same director Miguel Sapochnik, the guy is just on point.

Outstanding episode from start to finish.

Lady Mormont and Olenna Tyrell just kick ass with the putdowns,so much going on with beyond the wall,the north,and the south to look forward to.

42 weeks to the next season.
 
Proper boss that episode. Some ending and some boss scenes.

Melisandre will meet up with Arya when heading South and then meet up with The Hound and the brotherhood. Melisandre said to Arya in season 2 or 3 that she wasn't done with Arya and she's usually right about them things. Would be good to see and for all 3 to head back up north to Winterfell.
