The oddest part about Arya was the fact that she was dressed well and had lots of money the question is how?....

there are a lot of theories being spouted at the moment. looking at the preview for next week it looks like the waif spots arya in a crowd, suddenly clocks on that arya is still alive and starts chasing after her...

dunno whether that means anything but perhaps if true it means that arya magically survived and was cured and as she has already paid for a ship to take her away maybe she realises she has been spotted by the waif and starts legging it to the ship before it takes off and she just manages to escape...like i said who knows.

my initial theory before watching the trailer was that the waif had pretended to be arya and bought the trip to try and tempt the real arya out of hiding by causing a stir and that the old lady on the bridge was the real arya who stole the waif's face to mock her as she revealed herself to be the waif making the waif who was pretending to be arya realise that it was actually arya under her own disguise...very convaluted but as you can see my mind can come up with crazy ideas.

i think arya is acting the entire time and has a plan, was it not about 2 episodes or so ago that she saved the actress life and the actress asked her if she would ever consider acting and she kinda gives a nonchalent answer, it is clear arya loves the theatre and watching the actors and she is very good at acting and faking things if required.

the other poster with his theory about luring the waif into a dark alley to then spring a suprise with needle would be good had i not seen the trailer showing arya running away from the waif unless that is part of arya's plan to lure the waif.

meh close enough i'll take it

epic battle scene too look forward too next week

BOOYAH

bit weird this one.

I actually enjoyed this episode far more than previous in the series. Think they set some great scenes up, hound, the mountain scene, made me laugh a few times with the lines and the araya storyline had me wondering what would happen next.

On the other hand, the riverun storyline was basically terrible. Basically nothing happened at all? Pointless waste of scenes then really. Also the araya storyline essentially meant 2 seasons were for nothing there is absolutely nothing that you can take from her time in braavos.

I worry that they have essentially wrote the battle scene and then filled in all the gaps with fan service, pointless sorry lines and no real direction other than to simply supply a sorry for the future, the dothraki being under danyris for example.

How do we reckon the battle will go down then? Northern conspiracy? Another twist? White walkers involved?

I think 90% of the posters on here, and 67% of the internet generally, will come up with a better idea of how the battle plays out than the GOT writers have.

Perhaps Sansa will die because she is in the X-Men now, overshadowed as she is by the new Storm.

Not bad shout on Sansa , heroic death maybe

One of the worst episodes they've ever done, that.
See I enjoyed it.

But the couple of storyline I mentioned above really got shown up as Being terrible in the end.

It almost struck me as how they should have written the series crossed with awful way to write it at the same time. If that makes sense at all. Great lines for characters and little scenes which worked really well but poor over arcing stuff from the minor characters.

Doubt it she will be a main character.

I have a feeling how the battle will play out and sadly it will go according to script rather than with any real shock factors or twists. Don't think they can kill anyone good off either without harming the show in some way. Perhaps one male but it will be criminal if they do kill
davos
ad he us arguably one of my favourite actors in it now, and favourite characters.

Oh Tyrion, they've absolutely ruined you. They spent 10 minutes on jokes. Terrible, terrible jokes. Can't they think of anything else that character can do? Why didn't he just sod off with Varys? I want them to just kill him off now.

Deus ex Dany-ma. Again. Koff.

Arya: So she is just proper dopey then, is that it? Horrendously bad writing.

2 seasons of build up for what? Her to reject the assassin cult in the end anyway, and use none of the training to help her. Bar the wee bit when she was blind. Which we don't get to see as the fight is off-screen.

Edmure and Blackfish: Not sure how they could have butchered their 2 plotlines any more than they did. Edmure literally just talked to Jaime about how much of a bellend he is, and how much he's ruined his family. Only to betray his family immediately after. Now the Frey's have the castle. So you're back to square one. Genius writing.

No Trial by Combat now? Superb stuff.

The Hound is the only saving grace. But they'll manage to ruin him and all.
