Bit 'meh' that episode other than the return of them 2.

Meera is getting on my swede,
tomens a little bish,
Dragon lady is the worst actress on tv

Not sure it was "meh"....

Having Tommen fall in line with the High Sparrow and kick Jamie out of the Kingsguard was a bit of a twist. Lady Tyrell looks like she'd happily murder both the High Sparrow and her son as well. Also a big twist for Arya.

The scriptwriting is definitely not as good as it was in previous seasons though - the whole scene with Walder Frey was very "for the benefit of viewers with short memories", but then again I suppose it had to be in light of the fact that we haven't seen anything of the Freys or the Tullys for two years.

Hope they kill arya off

Hope they kill arya off

Would arguably be the biggest death in all six seasons in terms of level of character development.

Personally think young actress / older actress story echoes her vs the other girl in the temple and once she kills her, she'll be in. No room for two, sort of thing

A bit of a breather, this episode. Arya and the High Sparrow are getting on my nerves. Question to bookreaders: Randyll Tarly - good casting there?

Positives: Mace's speech was kind of great, you've got to like him. Walder Frey getting screentime, return of the Blackfish, Benjen's return was good too. Also like the theater scenes in general.

What an absolute meh episode. I felt like that was an hour wasted.

Mace.....great speech?? It was absolutely awful. And I think it was supposed to be. It did effectively show what a useless leader he is though. Remember, his own mother described him as an oaf!

Benjen......saw that coming a mile off. Last week I mentioned to the wife that Benjen will come and rescue Bran and Meera. This week he did.

I have noticed this series the writers are pretty much paying fan service and actually being very predictable. Remember last season where barristen was killed off? When the screen cut to black I was actually shocked, did not see that coming. Anyway digressing a little.

Most of the story lines have been predictable so far and benjin and rlj stuff is pleasing the Internet theorists. But going on this train of thought, cersi's trial. She is confident zombie mountain fighting for her, how can she lose? What clever twist will the writers come up with?

How about tommen, aka the king being the champion of the faith?

Christ the brotherhood without brains are unraveling here faster than shitt through a goose ! That episode was an eye watering cluster car crash of Everton proportions!
