Glad you enjoyed it.
With the dragon though, do you not think it was inconsistent the way the Dragons have struggled for effectiveness at certain times throughout the series and then last episode the one Danerys was on was untouchable?
Even after she was caught by surprise the week earlier and one died, she would have been raging and would have found a way to destroy Euron's fleet within 10 mins. Obviously they have to create scenes that excite the viewer so wanted to wait, but I just hate the inconsistency of the dragons being powerless some weeks and then on the recent episode, it was suddenly invincible.
Honestly no mate.
First time: She had just lost a dragon and went to attack, and was caught on the hop, every arrow was aimed at her because they were hunting her and she had no chance, so she ran when the bolts all started coming her way.
Second time: she came down and caught the Iron Fleet by surprise, taking out half the fleet before they even started getting their arrows aimed at her, and this time she was moving erratically and fast, it showed repeatedly how slow the catapults were to reposition, so she used their weaknesses.
Likewise when attacking the city itself, as soon as the crossbows were in position and fired the first bolt she climbed and they could not keep up. Prior to that she had been the one getting caught by surprise by the arrows, so not really on that first point.
As for the power of the dragon, it was about as powerful as the previous time a dragon attacked a normal army... (Jamie Lanisters army)... so not really inconsistent for me. It's not like the dragons have struggled to kill people in the past, then are suddenly super strong, they tend to make a mess of everything whenever she says drakarus or whatever it is says..
Simply put, when that fleet was already aiming at her and she was caught by surprise, she had no chance, however when the fleet was caught by surprise, it went the other way. Makes sense to me.
When did you think they were ineffective EFC? Maybe in the night battle they were not particularly game changers, but that was purely about the numbers, they killed loads to be fair, it just didn't make a difference.
