Trying to please Disney this seasonYou guys think this ending of a series has been bad? Did you not watch Lost?
There has been a serious lack of nudity in this series though, A point a friend brought up.
I remember the Sopranos ending being a bit " Is that it?? " at the time of watching but after time it got better the more you think about it.
Journey's hit playing while all the family arrive then the screen goes blank.
I watched it all for the first time about a year or so ago - all I knew of it was everyone slated the ending.
I went into it with very low expectations but I thought it was a tremendous ending.
"“At the end, you probably don’t hear anything, everything just goes black,”
Or proper garbage..they are currently making a prequel movie with james gandolfini's son playing a young tony soprano.. its from the makers of the series
something telling me its going to be proper boss
i don't think it will beOr proper garbage..
Big shout out to Lena Headey who made $1,000,000 an episode this season for standing at a window, drinking a glass of wine! She's an icon.....View attachment 58474
Everyone's entitled to form their own opinion on it, doesn't mean we're trying to be hip or cool if criticising. I never moaned in seasons 1-4, and during seasons 5-7 although some things didn't sit right, the overall story and filming was still at a high standard.
My problem with it is how it's gone away from what made it unique in seasons 1-4 in particular, and then the way they have just changed characters and their motives for this season, and even done it from one episode to the next. They aren't impressive twists or shocks, they make no sense. The inconsistencies are poor as well. Like the Dragons being an easy target one week, and then untouchable the next.
More examples... Jaime surviving time and time again when he was certain to die. It started last season with Bronn saving him and that fight with Euron where he got stabbed and then somehow came back even stronger was ridiculous. Cersei is the most evil character on the show and would never surrender, and turned in to a blubbering wreck in a pathetic manner before her death (I still think they will keep her alive for the next episode somehow).
Jon Snow was built up to be the leading light and has been made useless since episode 3, they then bigged up Arya who suddenly gave up on her mission of 6-7 seasons just off one conversation with the Hound, and after braving the Battle of Winterfell to kill the Night King. Loads more problems than that that have already been pointed out.
Out of interest, what things did you like about the episode?
Hang on. You are going to trust the word of a guy who wrote the Red Wedding???!?It's still an absolute lie that he's finished books 6 and 7 though. No idea why the guy would say that.

"I will, however, say for the record — no, THE WINDS OF WINTER and A DREAM OF SPRING are not finished. DREAM is not even begun; I am not going to start writing volume seven until I finish volume six"
