Game Of Thrones: Season 8

I thought it was epic, sitting on the edge of my seat. But more I think about it the lack of any major deaths was disappointing and I could see the night kings death coming a mile off

Next few episodes must literally be full of action for them to kill that big a character off halfway through the season. Looking forward to the rest, that was good but a little hard to see.

Think we’re underplaying Jamie’s significance. When the dust settles from the battle does the Kingslayer also add Queenslayer to his titles? One of very few who could get close enough in a 1 on 1 scenario to kill Cersei

Still stand by this, although as someone’s already suggested in here there could be a little twist.

I believe Arya will kill Cersi but considering what she's surrounded by, I think there are only a couple of people who could get that close to her. Reckon Tyrion or Jamie will have to be sacrificed.

Someone tell me what is the point in Bran?

Why did Hodor and the two kids whos names escape me sacrifice themselves for Bran if ultimately he did next to nothing in the fight against the Night's king? No having it out with him in a vision or warging into a dragon. Warged into some crows and flew about a bit. 8 seasons of build up for effectively being chum for the whitewalkers.

Thought the opening 20 minutes was amazing. The way they built up the suspense was probably the best i've seen in anything I have watched. But can't help but feel disappointed in some of the scenes and how they kept the main characters alive.

It's lost a lot of what made it great earlier on with unpredictable deaths.

Didnt he say in the previous episode that was him that the night king wanted all along and that the night king knew where he was all the time.

I reckon he could see how it would play out and just waited for it to happen.

It was Bran being there that brought the Night's King out into the open; if he hadn't then they would have just rolled over everyone as they did for most of the episode.

Ah well, get the feeling this is ending very much like Lost. Little underwhelming compared to other battles and the fight for humanity in Westeros set in the dark feel cheated.
