I was watching sundays episode and realised they were filming right by heathrow..

oh

hang on...

that was

Game of Drones!

End of episode 6 will end with Daenerys giving birth/being heavily pregnant with Jonny Snow/Aegon's baby;

"Yes, theirs will be the song of Ice and Fire"

Cut to the crypt and Cersei's grave, her eyes open and glow bright blue.

FADE TO BLACK

what about Samuel tarley ????

Noticed that they brought on board Weta Digital last season for the dragons and the zombie polar bear and have got them to do more for this season. Anyone think we might see those "pale spiders as big as hounds" Old Nan told us of? Weta certainly has previous there (LOTR and the Hobbit).

One of those things in life it’s important not to over analyse, just enjoy it for what it is.

I have a wry smile here, lads talking about pacing and dialogue on a show about Dragons and Snowmen Invasions in an imaginary fantasy world.
You just highlighted the two worst aspects of the show

Just got up to date with GOT. There's a lot of underperforming characters and this driftwood needs binning off by the end of the season. The main architect of the project has lost interest whilst the guys running the day to day stuff don't know how to switch it up and keep it interesting. A couple of powerful attackers would help and the one we lost in a previous season is a huge miss. Certainly the downfall of the civilised world due to the wall being toppled has been under-represented in its importance to me.

Might as well watch Game of Thrones. Ba dum tish.

I like the scheming and politics. The zombie apocalypse and supernatural stuff has put me off completely. The first 3 or so series were so much better. They didn't need full blown battle scenes to make it a good watch.

Pretty much my view, show was great when it was about family politics etc... all the fantasy stuff can get in the bin.

i find this strange as its a massive element of the show!?

If anything it's a compliment as to how good the show was in the early seasons that it could hook in someone like me who hates fantasy stuff and has no interest in medieval history etc. In theory its pretty much based around stuff i don't care for but the story, characters and politics/scheming were so well done that it completely sucked me in. I always knew it would end up going in heavy on the fantasy stuff though and that my interest would start to wane when it did so.
