Fellaini

Can't really see him at utd but I'm still convinced he'll go despite the World Cup argument. It wasn't long ago that he was pretty much saying this would be his last season with us- he knew about the World Cup then, obviously.

Reading that back statement again though it could just have easily been that he felt he was going because Moyes didn't want to keep him, and he was using him in a way that was going to damage his reputation in long term. The statement was very contradictory and his head must have been all over the place. players have said and done much worse and stayed for a long time after at clubs. might be wrong and he may go, but just don't want him or the club to get the impression he isn't wanted

He'll stay cause Rooney will be in the CAM, meaning that Fellaini will sit at the back with Gibson.

But does he want them? What can they give him that he doesn't already have.
He will want top money mate, Moyes wont want to lose him twice, so I recken Moyes will convince him to stay. Fergie already made things easy for Moyes tho be coming out saying He want out and didn't want to play in Fergie last game, Quite clever from fergie to be honest.

is this really what happened or what the media want to present as the case so the fans get resigned to him going... Rooney has slapped in a transfer request at Man U, ****ged off the team. yet there isn't even the same clamour from the media for him to leave that there is for Fellaini to leave us. until we hear from the manager he is going let the media get on with it

The media is one thing but when your quoted on several occasions saying you want to play in the cl there's no coming back from that. He is left looking red faced now when no bids are on the table

Difference between Rooney and Fellaini is most of the top teams actually would be interested in him should he become available

He'll stay I think, he's said a few times he's happy, look at what he said in January. Unless an offer comes in, in the region of £25-30 million we won't sell him.

Every player wants CL football, and I doubt he'll put a transfer request in, doesn't seem the type of player to do that.

if you were asked...do you want to play in the champions league...you say yes...then you add you want to do it with everton....if you are asked can you see yourself playing elsewhere...again you say yes but you are happy at everton....anything else would have been nonsense or no comment which would have led to more speculation

How dare you be sensible. I want fume not sense.

Good post lid.

Just watching the Martinez press conference, pretty sure Kenwright has just confirmed that Fellaini's got a release clause

Every agent/club in the country knew that. No secrets in footie these days! Win either way IMO. Stays, got a quality player for at least another year, goes, then tidy profit for RM to, hopefully, spend well.
