A lot of people* saying that the deal with united is at an advanced stage and its pretty much a straight swap with Rooney coming back to Everton. Rooney has been pushing for the deal to happen and Martinez thinks he'll complete our attack and still has plenty of funds for McCarthy and 2 or 3 other midfielders.
*I say a lot of people, I mean just me, in this post.

Yes feasible, but then RM then quotes he is available for the Belgium team friendly in 2 days, and he would not want him to miss that opportunity ???? -http://www.toffeeweb.com/season/13-14/news/25367.html?
After the game, Roberto Martinez told reporters that Fellaini would likely have played had it been a competitive league or cup game but he was rested today as a precaution with the Premier League kick off just six days away.
Hopefully this is the case.
Rooney is on £250,000 a week, £12m a year.
Fellaini is on £70,000 a week, £3.64m a year.
Rooney isn't taking a 70% paycut to come back to Everton.
And we're not going to pay £9m more a season in wages, to one player.
Simple mathematics illustrate Rooney will never be back at Everton, at least not under the current ownership at the club.
Apparently gone off injured tonight, knee ligaments.
Can anyone confirm?
