Iv been told by someone close to the club, That he should'nt be any were near the 1st team at the moment. He has a cracked bone in his back. He's playing with injections. An doesnt have full movement of his body. Aparently he told moyes he really wants to play as the squad is so short.

Just remember a few weeks ago when people were saying how great he was (cue the ' i never said that gang').

It's got nothing to do with injuries, I expected him to play how he played to be honest. He's a bog average central midfielder, simple as.

His best position is behind the striker, as a second striker. In Cahill's position, that's how I've always seen it and that's how I've told you before.

The lad is so far from being fit it's untrue. An if what iv benn told is true, moyes is out of order playing him. Cant hang the lad for putting his body on the line for the team.

Moyes wouldnt play an injured Fellaini ahead of Osman. He loves him too much. Therefore he wasnt injured and/or Osman was injured. And if Osman was injured he did alot more than the injured Fellaini.

It was harsh to book him, but not completely ridiculous. Only a couple of his yellows have been totally unfair. Have to agree with TB, he's either going to have to have no defensive responsibilities at all or be an entirely defensive mid that doesn't cross the half way line.

Since when is it a crime to be disappointed about a player's poor performance? Only one or two posts in this thread have said, "he's **** etc". We all want him to play well and if he's as unfit as Sharpy says then that's Moyes's decision and we're being harsh. No one's targeting him or whatever's supposedly going on.

It's typical GOT to be honest, how dare anyone criticise something involved with Everton, how dare they.

Fact is he can’t play centre midfield, in that position he’s decent at best. He passes sideways and backwards, he’s continually bypassed and he doesn’t offer creativity. As an attacking central midfield it’s a must that he at least bring some creativity, why play the role if you can’t? The most creative thing he does is win flick ons, we could bring back Duncan Ferguson and tell him to do that and he’d do It even at his age. Tim Cahill does that every week.

If a player can’t create that he should surely offer defensive qualities, tackling, holding his position and harrying the opposition. He offers nothing defensively, he’s continually bypassed. The amount of times he’s outpaced and outrun is ridiculous to be honest, Neville was baby sitting him today for 30 odd minutes. Osman had to hold back just so Fellaini could drift around the pitch and offer nothing, when Osman is doing that for a supposed powerful, six foot plus midfielder you know your in trouble.

If anyone wants to argue with what I’ve said bring it on, I’ll wipe the floor with you to be honest. His performances at centre midfield are weak, poor and a joke and that’s why I’m pointing this out. It’s got nothing to do with hating him, I’ll praise his performances when he does well and plays to the standards he is capable of.

based on his performance today, I don't disagree that he was off the pace etc and I'm not suggesting otherwise , my point is that he's being written off by some people as a waste of space on the basis of just some of his performances when he's clearly got an injury problem.
