Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

And what do you think Fellaini should be disciplined for ? Acting like a prat ?

As far as Vadis appeal goes, the article explains that Everton's options are very limited :

While the Toffees have said they will assess all available options before considering an appeal, their only probable avenue of recourse is through the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
That could take months rather than weeks and, as the agreement with Club Brugge was only for a loan, a lengthy appeal process does not seem likely as the transfer window reopens in January.

He's gonna leave, whether it's January, the summer or a year later. We are a 'selling' club after all. If we get close to 30 to 40 million for him it will be good business.

When I read things like this, it just reminds me how many people were saying here with just as much certainty that he'd never sign a new contract, then he signed the contract. Then they said he'd definitely be gone this summer, and he stayed. Are Everton are a selling club ? It depends on your definition. This summer Moyes didn't sell a single player that he wasn't happy to let go. If we do sell Fellaini next year it will probably only be because the player himself has forced Moyes's hand. But don't take it for granted that will happen, there's no certainties in football. There's no reason to think that Fellaini's unhappy at Everton, he may be thinking about his career, but I don't believe that much has changed since he signed his contract, and if the season goes well for him and for us his feelings may change.

Meet Felli at Everton Player of the Month Event
Wednesday 12th September 2012 20:02 by Daniel Alston

Marouane Fellaini has been named Everton's Player of the Month for August - and fans can meet the Belgian as he collects his award next week.

Fellaini picked up the votes for August's individual accolade for his outstanding performances and will appear at the first Player of the Month lunch of the new season at the Hilton Hotel, Liverpool on Thursday 20 September.

The Belgian scored the only goal of the game against Manchester United in the Blues’ opening game of the campaign and then followed up by finding the net again at Aston Villa.

Tickets for the Player of the Month lunch cost just £55 per person (inclusive of VAT) and include a welcome drink on arrival, a two-course meal and the chance to see Everton legends interviewed about their thoughts on the month’s winner and action across the season to date.

There will also be the opportunity to meet and greet Fellaini and receive a photograph of the man himself, signed for you on the day.

The lunches are also an excellent opportunity to network with local businesses and potential clients in the heart of the city.

To book your place at this month's event, please call 0151 530 5300 or email corporatesales@evertonfc.com.

Awkward~!

Why awkward?

I would have thought that was obvious mate - the events of this past week and his quotes about wanting to leave, then his partial backtracking on Facebook. I'm sure any Blues attending that function will be quizzing him. Awkward for Fellaini if he really does want to leave.

To be honest I didn't expect Fellaini would even be here this season so this doesn't surprise me at all. Just a bit disappointing with the way he went about it.

Fellow midfielder Marouane Fellaini returned from international duty to find the manager waiting to have a word with him about comments he made while away with Belgium.

The 24-year-old had said whilst on international duty: "This will be one of my last seasons. I have seen everything. In January, or at the end of the season, I will look for another club or league."

Moyes insisted the matter was now closed despite feeling his star midfielder had been naive with his comments.

"I think sometimes the players, when they go away on international duty, have their egos massaged and things are said when they maybe think they are talking to a different audience," he said.

"They think maybe they can say things which don't matter – well, it does matter and I've made Marouane aware of that. The transfer window shut a while ago so it doesn't really matter.

"These things happen, I've had a word with him and we move on."

And oh look, clearly he wasnt "misquoted".
