Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

Ah, [Poor language removed] off Everton.

It's not Everton's fault, in this instance. Well, if you really want to get deep about it, I suppose it is Bill Kenwright's fault for being skint and not being able to find a buyer for the club because his search process is flawed and he doesn't want to take a chance on any potential buyers in case it goes tits up and he'd never be able to forgive himself ala David Moores.

But really, this is ALL Fellaini's own doing, and his alone.

'[Poor language removed] off Fellaini' is what you should be saying.

Well, if he wants a move he will. It's in his best interests to play well isn't it, surely? If he plays ****e and coasts it for months, are Chelsea/City/Arsenal etc going to match our asking price for him? Are they even going to be interested?

Logically that is right but you always wonder if a player is really busting a gut for you when he wants to be somewhere else. We'll see.

Wasn't really blaming anyone in particular for it with that statement, mate. It's just another let down that's become part and parcel of being a blue. I tell Everton to [Poor language removed] off constantly, tbf.

i don't wanna read this thread it's depressing. deep down i knew he wouldn't be with us for ever, was hoping it would be another couple of years at least. suppose the one good thing to take from it is that his good start to the season hasn't gone unnoticed by the media. would have preferred it if they picked up on it last season though because he was a monster throughout, hopefully push his price up high. have a bad feeling we'll get £25M tops which is below par for me, at least 5M below par.

just wait and see i suppose

Oh don't get me wrong, I agree mate. I was devastated by Rooney going, very disappointed by Lescott going, and then I must say, devastated again when Arteta went. But we survived, we moved on (thanks to Moyes being a good buyer). I'm in my 30s now and have just accepted it. It's taken me all these years, but I've finally reach that 'arl arse' stage where I've seen it all before now, and as ****e as it is selling a good player, we normally bounce back. No real point dwelling on it. The lad is from Belgium not Bootle, so it's kind of hard to expect him to show undying loyalty. He's a foreign footballer in 2012, mixing with a bunch of Belgium national team players who all earn far more than him at other Prem teams. It's a nap it was going to happen at some point.

So its pretty obvious he did say it then. As far as im concerned he can get f##ked. Why try to rock the boat when we're trying to fet a bit of momentum going?

Head turned whilst on international duty. A few good games for us, coupled with half the Belgium national team now playing in the Prem with Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, etc. Most of Fellaini's international teammates are all based in London too.

Here we go again, I hate supporting Everton I get a tad excited about what we can achieve and someone has to go and ruin it.

Everybody has their price I know this but why at Everton do we have to make everyone to be a judas... Fellaini is better than us yes but I hate how gullible our fans are they rather boo someone like him rather than a "blue" who's killing our club. I wish I was at my arl fella stage where he's got bigger problems on his plate but I haven't!

Everton are the best and worst thing to ever happen to me!

I think the situation is as dire as some of you are making it out to be. Felli made a statement saying he was happy in Liverpool and isn't pushing for a move this year after his blunder. We all know that Felli is going to move on someday but doesn't seem like it's happening any time soon. I will only be concerned if he starts consistently making comments about being unhappy and when there is a club with strong interest in him ala Modric with Tottenham and Madrid.

I think we've known for some time that Fellaini would leave eventually. At least Moyes has plenty of time to get a replacement lined up and he should have a reasonable amount to spend. Felli won't go cheap and anyway, he isn't indispensible. What I do hope is that he doesn't go in January.

I'm gutted by it all tbh, my fave blues player from the day he signed. When most fans were slating him I was busy reminding them to look at other players in the team, not those who've just arrived from a different league and culture, etc.

He didn't have to make these comments, he did and he's never denied making them. You can't say things like that unpromtoed and then try to fob everyone off with "dont worry guys, I still love it here"

I wouldn't boo him as that's a ****'s trick, no Everton player deserves to be booed when he's been as good as Fellaini has been but I hope we invite bids for him in Jan and I say that with a heavy heart - not being cup tied for the Champions League will make him very attractive for Chelsea or Utd. 25m and 75k a week off the wage bill would hopefully buy us Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe permanently, Jack Butland, Donovan, and a quality right back

I've stopped caring about players leaving. It's the nature of football. Moyes is right in his comments. If he keeps playing like he did against Brum then he'll be lucky to get a move to stoke! Pro footballers are all out for themselves. It's the nature of the sport.

He's made a massive error saying that, just hope we get a fair price for him and he handles wanting to leave with a bit more class in January, better than some others have done in the past.

January usually sees prices a little more inflated too. Gutted if he goes then though
