Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

But that hasn't happened, he's just signed a new long term contract and said he's happy.

I simply don't get why people are so willing to start treating our best players as assets that we can flog to get more players in, as if it's as simple as selling one player and replacing him with three. Where do the wages for multiple players come from ? How do we attract players to improve us consistently if we can't get European football as a result of the continued sale of our best players ? It's a vicious cycle.

We've got a strong starting 11 now, and three games into the season some are already considering the benefits of losing our arguably most influential player.

I said IF the player asks to leave as in the summer or Jan which still could happen if we fail to do anything as a team again this season

Wake up call lad the players are assests in fact they are our only assests to speak of, Maybe we look at certain players and wonder if the money we could get for them would benefit the squad more in the long run rather than the next 1-2 seasons

Well yeah, thanks to the same regime who think it's acceptable to sell our best CB for tuppence.

Yes but that has nothing to do with the fans

We are in a situation at Everton and as fans we know that players must be sold to allow Moyes to spend right or wrong its the way it is

So no lads/lasses arnt happy with it or trying to justify it there just under no illuision that Fellaini will be sold sooner rather than later

If we qualify for CL football then he'll change his tune, if we don't then he'll leave in the summer for a team that can challenge for European honours and I wouldn't really blame him. Not much is going to happen between now and then so I'm not to bothered. Players come and go, including those that seem irreplaceable at the time, no one player is bigger than the club and whatever happens happens

He's worth at least 40 million pound. Every single club in world football is gagging to sign him, as we haven't seen a midfield talent like this since Zinidine Zidane.

I don't want to lose him, but you can't complain when the opening bids will start at 35million pounds, and there will then be a price war which will easily reach 40 million but may even exceed 50million.

He is a good player, but with 50million pound we could buy 100 Darron Gibson's. I know that Darron Gibson isn't a patch on Fellaini in any shape, way or form, but he is still a decent player and having a 100 of them around the squad will surely come in handy.

Squad limit is 25 players mate

I do belive that people who prefer him at #10 postition, dont watch Everton regularly. I would take a guess that they are Match of the day fans.
Maybe those people notice that our goals scored increases by 50% when he plays in that position. Try again.

It's weird how this story makes me depressed even though I believe the last time I posted here I said our lousy board would inevitably lose him after this season.

Yeah, that David Moyes is a right pleb.

He doesn't even go the match and picks his team based on what he sees on Match of The Day.

"people who prefer him at #10 position"

You cannot say Moyes prefers him there. Statistically he has played most of his games in a deeper role so if you're going to take it upon yourself to declare Moyes' preference, that's the option with more evidence.

Fellaini himself has just been quoted saying he prefers the deeper role too.

cos I believe he is. He will fight for Everton as much as we would do. I was once against DM but hope he stays forever right now.
