Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

disagree as I said before you wont see morinio or the barca manager going to their chairman and saying "I need fellaini at all costs" If he was cheap I think teams would take a punt on him but I cant see them going out of the way to sign him.

he has no CL experience and limited europa league experience,
I mean a fit diaby has only got to be around 15m and when fit he has destoyed teams aswell. yaya toure is a step up on fellaini and can single handedly win games for you and he was 24m

That is just crazy talk !!

Yayo does not, and has never dictated a game for City.

He is more of an AMC, and is un-touchable at running with the ball.

You only need to see the type of player CIty have been trying to sing in the last 2 windows to see that, Rodwell, De Rossi, Garcia etc.

They clearly see Yaya as not able to play MC or even DMC, else they would play him their.

Sorry, but that's simply not true. Mancini frequently plays him all over the midfield spine from CDM to CAM.

you can argue all you want about his best position but i think that when he plays CM we are a better team due to the fact we dont have anyone else who can play there a part from gibson. it may or may not be his best position but we have other plays who can play behind jelavic

You really need to drop that line, it's ridiculous.

not all games some games, when which game was it when he put him from DM to play behind the strikers and he came up with the winning goal.
We did the same thing with fellaini in the fa cup semi final against the RS and he did nothing.

whats the difference between diaby when fit and fellaini. and why is fellaini worth 25 when diaby only 15.

They play him, and cover with 2 DM's. What does that say ???!!!

He may play now and again, and thats fine, but they use him as cover in these positions, which again, says its not his best position.

The games Yaya has been quality, is when he has scored a blinder, or done a few 50 yard runs.

The same people who will more than likely be complaining if we do sell him. Why are people so accepting of this club's asset stripping policy ? Sell your best players and replace them with a few decent players. Ace.

Not saying I agree with the stance mate - just that you can't have a pop at lids for taking the next step and assuming he goes. Human nature.

How is it asset stripping ffs if the player wants to leave for a bigger club?

If we decides that he needs CL football then bye bye lets get as much money as we can for him

Anywhere around 22m will see him go IMO

I don't see how those two things are related. The actions of the board with regard to player transfers and the use of funds received from said transfers have nothing to do with the player's desire to play somewhere else. I'm pretty sure every player wants to play Champions League football...

'Oh hey Fenerbache, would you like a nice Dutch CB to go with Yobo ? Knockdown price !'

zidane had more intelligence then fellaini and had a much better finish then him, can you really see fellaini guiding the ball in the top corner, he gets the ball and usually strikes it on the floor with power, he either lacks confidence or just isnt comfortable in front of goal, I will go with the latter.

like that shot against west brom, he sturck it first time and went for power, someone more comfortable would of got the ball under control and then guided it into the corner giving the keeper no chance,

I wasn't comparing Fellaini to zidane by the way.... I was just saying you don't HAVE to be blessed with stamina and pace for playing a box to box role.

As it happens Fellaini actually covers alot of ground on a weekly basis. It was just a reply to that popcorning fool who was claiming Fellaini was a poor player and couldn't play box to box.

I do belive that people who prefer him at #10 postition, dont watch Everton regularly.

I would take a guess that they are Match of the day fans.

Well then you would be very wrong. That post is mind-numbingly ignorant. Basically, you're insulting the intelligence of every match-going blue who prefers Fellaini behind the striker. It's called a difference of opinion.

You had a moan that people are saying how they would spend the money received for Felliani if he went

You then said how are they ok with the asset stripping at the club

If Kenwright said listen lads we need the money so Fellaini has to be sold then fair enough, But if the player asks to leave its harldy the fault of the board is it?

But that hasn't happened, he's just signed a new long term contract and said he's happy.

I simply don't get why people are so willing to start treating our best players as assets that we can flog to get more players in, as if it's as simple as selling one player and replacing him with three. Where do the wages for multiple players come from ? How do we attract players to improve us consistently if we can't get European football as a result of the continued sale of our best players ? It's a vicious cycle.

We've got a strong starting 11 now, and three games into the season some are already considering the benefits of losing our arguably most influential player.
