Fellaini wants to leave Everton?

Another two seasons and then he'll leave imo, unless we have Champions league football in the near future, that may be enough to convince him to further extend his contract.

Belgium's training ground this past week:

"Hey Vincent, how much do you earn?"
"Wow!"
"Hey Eden, how much do you earn?"
"Wow!"
Hang on....
"Vermaelen?.....!" "Dembele?.....! Even you Dembele??!!"

Somebody get my agent on the phone, and quick.

Dembele won't be on more than Fellaini.

Fellaini is on £90k a week, Spurs' wage structure doesn't meet that as far as i know.

Really? Didn't know he was on that much, thought he'd be on a similar wage to what Arteta was.

Think we worked out before that with the figure of '£20m' thrown around when he signed (that being what the total deal was worth) that over the 5 year contract he'd end up making about £83k a week. Bonuses on top of that too etc.

pmsl. Get lost, soft lad. 90k a week, hahaha!

HAHAHA !

He has agreed a five year deal worth almost £20million over the course of the contract, and more importantly, by turning his back on an almost immediate opportunity to join a top European club, has offered a real comment on Everton's future prospects.

20m over 5 Years 4m a Year = 76k a week.

That would seem correct initially, however '5 year deals' don't actually run for 5 years, they usually run until the end of the fifth season. Because he signed in November the contract runs until the Summer of 2016.

20m / 241 weeks = £83k a week (plus bonuses)

241 weeks would be the 30th of June, which is when player contracts expire as far as i'm aware.

Absolutely no chance whatsoever, and I don't care if this Goat fella is ITK or not. Not a chance he is on anywhere near that.

What are you basing that on ?

Arteta was on £70k a week, and Fellaini could have easily gone last season to one of many top sides playing CL football. £90k for the best player in our team is not a stretch at all.

I just can't see it mate. If Fellaini is commanding that then the likes of Pienaar, Jelavic, Jagielka, Baines et all must be close to matching it. I can't see how them lot would be happy with 50k a week in the knowledge of Fellaini taking home nearly double.
