Can Farage on LBC be considered a fascist? He's been spouting that anybody who is anti leave shouldn't be allowed in the civil service or the armed forces.
I’d say so

Think the current rise has a lot to do with the internet. People can source all sorts of fabricated material. Also can speak online with like minded individuals. Before it was a kinda under current but now it is out in the open as people feel more at ease
It can be an echo chamber aye

Is he effectively saying that because of one marginal vote, under dubious circumstances, that those that only those that support no-deal (which wasn't voted on) should have any power in the Nation?

Anyone who cant see fascism is already resurfacing in Italy and Germany, and rising in UK/USA due to far right governments and groups like GI and Proud Boys have their heads in the sand

They say that if you chuck a frog into a pan of boiling water it will jump straight out again.

But if you put it into a pot of cold water and turn on the cooker ring the frog will just sit there as it is boiled alive.

I imagine Fascism is sommat like that.

If you woke up one morning to find out Fascists have taken over you would be out protesting and doing sommat about it.

We are witnessing an incremental drift toward, if not outright Fascism, something very unpleasant in our governance.

A fruitcake populist placed in power by a handful of voters, a shadowy unelected "adviser" appearing to dictate policy and tactics, the appointment of a cabinet of right wing sycophants, pursuit of a mad policy which threatens to wreak havoc on our lives and now trying to shut down any dissenting voices by curtailing parliament.

And it seems it is just being accepted as a fait accompli by the populace.

I've said for many years that the people think fascism is the sound of jackboots going down Breck road. If they don't hear that it isn't happening...

A person who has become PM not by popular and general election but by the votes of his own elected MPs and the members of his own party, has just shut down Parliament.

That seems like the water in the pot is getting quite a bit hotter, but there is still about half of the UK electorate who are reacting like frogs and feeling warm and cosy.

I’ve got a great idea, let’s use a voting system. Oh wait
