Tis true that contented people dont generally get upset at stuff.

The trick that I think many have not yet grasped, is the way the discontented are trained to revolt against a bogeyman, that is usually the wrong target. But serves a purpose.

Think the current rise has a lot to do with the internet. People can source all sorts of fabricated material. Also can speak online with like minded individuals. Before it was a kinda under current but now it is out in the open as people feel more at ease

Can Farage on LBC be considered a fascist? He's been spouting that anybody who is anti leave shouldn't be allowed in the civil service or the armed forces.

Don't think this is fascism, it's more akin to nationalism. Fascism is the enabling system that we've allowed for some time.
Pedantry maybe, but it has to be what it has to be...

I would agree but for different reasons. Fascism is a specific political system (of which Ultra-Nationalism is a feature). It's perhaps pedantic but throwing the label at any bunch of boneheads at best or people we don't like at worst devalues it for when we are confronted by actual Fascists.
