There is fundamentalism in christianity that supports the far right, has been for as long as I know it. It's one of the main reasons I believe the world is just a game, they're all selling exactly the same bs, coke-pepsi-dr pepper, same stuff, different taste.

You could say that about a lot of religions. It isn't just Christianity.

All religions have a fundamentalist extreme, just as all have an extant 'extreme spiritual' wing, Kabbalists, Sufis etc, all apart from Christianity that is. There is no yang there

Tis true that contented people dont generally get upset at stuff.

The trick that I think many have not yet grasped, is the way the discontented are trained to revolt against a bogeyman, that is usually the wrong target. But serves a purpose.

The Brexiteer "Control our borders" crusade is a case in point. We can control them. We just choose not to. Somehow that is the fault of the EU.

Couldn't call any of them spiritual or mystic in the same way as the Sufis or Kabbalists for that matter, all being Abrahamic faiths, the closest, and these are easily disputed, were the alchemists who searched for the essence of g-d through scientific methods, Giordano Bruno etc. Just can't picture a right wing element like the jesuits, nazi apologists, or the babbling rabble from Westboro searching for the Philosopher's Stone (no Harry Potter jokes)
