And it came to pass :

Starts off like a right prick, falls down the slope of twatiness, compares war-time child evacuation to God knows what, and finally completely unveils his Moseleyite fascism - and wears a ridiculous beret. David Cameron's great legacy.

A big problem currently is that while most people would say fascism is bad, a lot of fascists policies people would agree with if they weren't labeled as being fascist.

George Orwell was prescient as ever :

The Road to Wigan Pier.

"When I speak of Fascism in England, I am not necessarily thinking of Mosley and his pimpled followers. English Fascism, when it arrives, is likely to be of a sedate and subtle kind, (presumably, at any rate at first, it won't be called Fascism.)"

Can you imagine taking time out of your day to go and claim that your ancestors go back generations to someone who's ancestors do not, and think that that is an acceptable way to behave. I guess you can when you have massive upticks of nationalism/fascism/racism/xenophobia occurring at the high political levels.

These are in the indoctrinated bigots spouting off about what labour need to do to be electable, electable in their eyes that is

The anti-BDS, anti-strike and anti-traveller legislation being mooted by the new government are very concerning indeed.
I've read stuff about anti BDS which, from what I can understand, is about restricting certain public organisations, such as local councils, from using tax payers funds to promote their own political agendas. Not entirely sure I disagree with that if I'm honest, provided the same rule is applied across the board to everybody.

What is being mooted around anti strike and anti traveller legislation?. I haven't read anything about either.

I agree with everything you said there. The man is an utter racist moron and gutter rat. I didn't understand the Cameron comment though. People like this have been around since well before Cameron was born and will sadly still be here when he has gone.

Luckily they are a very small minority in UK society and I'm pretty sure it will stay that way during my lifetime.

I'm setting up a company to facilitate a smooth move to Scotland for the REALLY infuriated.

To the strains of "flower of Scotland" you must declare no truck with the democratic will of the UK to get a ticket whilst proclaiming Scottish independence and the will to rejoin Europe as the only answer. Placards with "BORDERS NOW - BURN CARLISLE" are available

( I voted remain and will organise the logistics but no way am I living up there, :coffee:)
