There's a similar thread but this highlights what is more important to us, 4th place or winning the FA cup... If you finish 4th you only have the chance to qualify for the group stages where all the money is and why and how you attract big players and be able to afford their salaries... Finishing 4th which seems he most likely option because Chelsea are playing well would enable us to to be seeded against another team
Maybe like Villarreal (sods law). With that in mind would you rather finish 4th no FA cup or in the mix top half and win he FA cup. Even tho we have a chance for both this is just about WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT... Silverware or the chance to play in the mos prestigious league/cup in the world?
My answer would be 4th all the way, and I think this is about a good a squad as where gonna have with the financial limits where presented with and a lot of our player are more near the end of their careers than start... Just to have that chance that golden ticket for everton to receive 40+ million in revenue let alone merchandise sales and marketing, champions league is what could take us to that mantle and hang into it for some years to come. The history is their the fan base is there the players are there and probably we would be bought by the elusive billionaire we so long for... So for me league top priority and always!
