Big mistake if West Ham think last weekend will have any bearing on this.
A decent ref keeping an eye on Payet's diving is crucial here though

Great point. I doubt they'll want the prospect of Everton and United arriving in town on the Sunday.

So given the TV schedules will be decided before the outcome of the WH/ United tie, then that might dictate that we're on the Saturday. Last season was a 5.30 KO

Could easily be that BBC are just trying to be on top, and actually list the fixtures.

It makes a lot more sense for the higher profile game to be saturday (in terms of police presence), knowing full well that they'll all be at the Marathon the next day.

a bit from there chairman lol, think more we gifted 3 points away in some style
Of the two I prefer Mr Gold. The other one (Sullivan) said their win at Goodison was sweet revenge for McCarthys tackle on Payet at Upton Park. Its an unnecessary comment from the chairman of a football club. Just say nothing and enjoy the victory.

Logic would tell you that our game (especially if its Man Utd) should be on the Saturday. But we played them on a Sunday in 2009. So who knows.

Didn't matter who they put in front of us.
My water is rarely wrong

BTW why was Jenas doing the draw? And to have Pougatch (?) saying that he'd played in a lot of FA cup ties was having a laugh. Did he EVER play 2 games in a row?

It was Mark Chapman, not Pougatch.

I was more bothered by a celebrity chef helping to make the draw than Jenas.
