Didn't matter who they put in front of us.
My water is rarely wrong

BTW why was Jenas doing the draw? And to have Pougatch (?) saying that he'd played in a lot of FA cup ties was having a laugh. Did he EVER play 2 games in a row?

For nearly 45 minutes with 10 men we were leading them 1-0. Fair enough they scored 3 in the last ten minutes (mainly through tiredness and the inability of our manager to get our tactics right)They have more to worry about if we keep 10 men on the pitch and they're already 1 down as lukaku always scores against them anyway. This on the understanding that they beat the mancs, they haven't done that yet.

Yes, see my post above.

Of the 2 games, ours is the one the police will want to pump more resources into and won't want it on the same day as the Marathon. I reckon it's nailed on to be the Saturday.

100% this.

I still think they'll try their hand at 12:45 KO, using the fact there isn't a fixture there as a diversion and an excuse. Merseyside police done us no favours last season with their over zealous approach to 'safety', and the Met will look at this as 35,000 toffees on the lash all day, plus 'nawty' West Ham fans.... see Millwall in LC a few seasons back, and will sure, as you say to run this as high risk.

If they have any consideration for fans travelling, they would have the Northern fans on the Saturday as well - not that they do mind.

Nailed on that the M6 has just been ordered to be dug up (more) that weekend and that essential engineering will be needed for the mainline north.

Probably for the first time I can remember I'm confident we can win the cup. I think that's based around the fact we don't have to pull off any miracles against any possible opposition. Play to our own standard and we can do any of these comfortably.
Agree!!! But then remember Wigan, Reading, Oldham , Tranmere, Shrewsbury, etc etc ! God knows what will happen its a roller coaster following the blues.
But then think 45 quarter finals 25 semi finals 13 finals 5 wins. Law of averages says we are due another win
