Set pieces. Cahill, Yobo, Lescott, Fellaini all in the box. Neville standing outside the box (for the 30 yard volley), Pienaar on the outside just incase they take a quick freekick, and Baines the taker, he's got a decent strike on him.

With Cech, we should be able to score against them.




Im now starting to think Anelka will be a bigger threat than Drogba also...i think our defence should be able to handle them.

Neville marked Gerrard out of the game at Anfield twice (mostly) and thats what we need him to do with Lampard.

Chelsea will do the one thing they are great at, crowding round the referee and moaning.

Ah but we will keep our nerve......As long as we aren't affected by their antics, I think by now we all know what expect.....I would love to knock that arrogant Ballack of his pedestal.......... I just hope our midfield doesn't get easily knocked off the ball. Chelsea are a srong powerful outfit.

In Tim Cahill, Louis Saha, Marouane Fellaini, Joseph Yobo and Joleon Lescott we have alot of aerial ability and presence in the side. Hopefully Pienaar, Baines and Osman can get some decent crosses into the box. That’s probably the way to hurt them with Cech in goal.

Osman was getting the ball in early against Fulham and he should do that more often. Considering his lack of pace that’s the way he should be playing. He’s not going to get go past Cole so just play to your strengths Leon.

We also might benefit from Anelka playing wide right, he isn’t going to track Baines and Pienaar. We saw that at Stamford Bridge and Bosingwa isn’t a great defender in my opinion, it’s the weaker part of his game.

I think Fellaini might have to drop into midfield a bit more than usual, we’ll need that extra man in there at times or Essien, Lampard and Ballack will take over and control the game.

Oh and Saha and Fellaini need to work in tandem. Louis has a tendency to drop too deep and Fellaini hasn’t got the pace or mobility to get in behind him. Cahill has but he’ll be in midfield. Fellaini should look to link things up and Louis should play off the two centre backs and try and stretch there defence like Jo did a few weeks ago.

You've all made some excellent observations on what we'll need to win. I especially love the "crowding around the ref and crying" comment. I hope we see alot of that from Chelsea this weekend. I despise them just as much as Liverpool, and much more than United.

I don’t know whether or not its fatigue or something but ever since Villa away, every single cross, corner or free kick either hits the wall, never reaches the box, or doesn’t clear the near post.
