I predict I will be utterly hammered and will spend the first 20minutes of the game trying to regain my sight. Like the Semi.

MG - get wasted after the game if you must, not before, this is going to be our day, you'll want to remember every minute of it b)

Cant be helped mate, the coach will get us in the Pub about 11am and my mate will force feed me cans on the way down. I can recall every second of the Semi, you dont forget days like those.

Thats my alarm clock for the saturday morning, Along with Z-Cars and Grandoldteam (yes i need three alarm calls - and?!?!)

Ive also updated my Ipod - to include all Everton songs - including St Domingos, and Tell Me Ma...should be a good car journey.

Also, if people are looking for alcohol on the trip, ASDA have some great offers, with 2 crates of most lagers/Ciders for £14.

Just got 30 cans :) Pretty decent price.

I'll be on my way in a few hours. Gettin picked up at 3am for a 6.15 flight. Even though theres a while to go to the game, im still getting butterfly's :lol:

Sound by me - just enjoy and remember the day (y)

Me - I'm playing at Holland Park 10-11 am, quick shower then off to Wembley with the kids for 1pm lunch (corporate thingy, yawn :blink: ). then into our seats in time for Abide with Me.

Celebrations start around 5pm (y)

Playing what mate? Footy?

Yep - bunch of Dad's get together and play every Saturday whilst our kids are playing.

Mainly old-farts (40 somethings) but one or two decent players including an ex AC Milan reserve player and a couple of ex pro's from France.

and me :lol:

Fair play to ya, had a little game the other day, little family game in the park. All age groups, should have seen me, I was dancing around all the 5 year olds. My son wanted to go on the other team to me, "So he could kick Daddy", thats my boy!!!!!!!!

My son is 9 now and I've had to buy some shin pads :unsure:

Just to get us in the mood:

Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide;
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, oh, abide with me.

Swift to its close ebbs out life’s little day;
Earth’s joys grow dim, its glories pass away;
Change and decay in all around I see—
O Thou who changest not, abide with me.

I need Thy presence every passing hour;
What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s pow’r?
Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?
Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me.

I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless;
Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness;
Where is death’s sting? Where, grave, thy victory?
I triumph still, if Thou abide with me.

Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes;
Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies;
Heav’n’s morning breaks, and earth’s vain shadows flee;
In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.

It's the The London Community Gospel Choir with an opening solo by 13-year-old James Donaghey ( currently starring as Oliver in the West End)

I am bricking it!!!!

And the thing is….I cant drink during the game because I made an agreement with the bird that if we lost I'd drive up to Newcastle and help her pack and move house….But if we win I can get absolutely Lionaled.

But by maybe a stroke of luck, my car is playing up a little bit, so I maybe able to blag a piss-up either way.
