I'm just about to leave my house in Guernsey. The anticipation is reaching boiling point!!!!

Hope to see plenty of blue shirts in the Ibis Wembley.

Yep - bunch of Dad's get together and play every Saturday whilst our kids are playing.

Mainly old-farts (40 somethings) but one or two decent players including an ex AC Milan reserve player and a couple of ex pro's from France.

and me

Sounds like my type of mates! I'm an OF and I've grown quite fond of watching Ligue football. Are either of the ex-pros ex-Marseille by any chance? My favorite Ligue club.(y)

Every time I read stuff on here and get to thinking about tomorrow, me hair stands on end. I can't wait for tomorrow, got the Everton songs on now, me arl fella has decked out the car with blue and white balloons, there's Everton banners/flags/hats/bluenoses/Moyes masks and all other assorted Everton parafinalia don't know if that's how you spell that word, but I really don't care) all over our house, I feel like all my Crimbo's, birthdays, wanks, whatever have come at once!

Lawro's backed us to win….expect us to lose :(

*runs away from mob*

Yeah was just about to post that, here's his prediction......

Chelsea v Everton

Guus Hiddink is a top manager, always has been and always will be, but he is up against one of Britain's finest, in my opinion, in David Moyes

I think the FA Cup final shapes up to be a very well-balanced match.

First of all, look back at the league matches between the sides this season - both were 0-0, tight affairs with no quarter asked for nor given.

Add to that the tension, build-up and pressure involved in a Cup final, allied to the fact that it is forecast to be hot and sunny on the day, and it all seems to be set up for a hard-fought, close game.

As far as Everton are concerned, that will suit them because I don't for one second expect them to come out and play an open and expansive game at Wembley.

They will want to keep it tight, play with patience, and attempt to swallow Chelsea's attacking threat.

I expect they will play five across the middle behind a lone striker, attempting to break with pace and power when the chance arises.

I hold Chelsea in high regard - they are a top team - but they don't necessarily have a player who can pry defences open with a defence-splitting pass or a mazy dribble; instead, they look to work you.

Because of that, I think they can be frustrated.

Still, Guus Hiddink is a top manager and he is very rarely found wanting tactically. On top of that, he is clearly a good man manager and he is doing very well to get the best out of what is clearly a very talented bunch of players.

The Dutchman is up against one of Britain's finest, though, in my opinion. David Moyes has done a tremendous job at Everton and, outside of the top four, he is as good if not better than anyone.

Of course, both will be desperate for glory - Hiddink so that he can end his Chelsea reign on a high, and Moyes so he has some silverware to go alongside his league successes of recent years.

But this is an FA Cup final and when was the last good one? The last couple have merely served as excellent adverts for cricket.

It will be tight, it will be hard-fought, and it will be dogged because it's inevitable players go into occasions like this thinking "don't lose".

For those reasons, I expect it to go all the way - possibly even 0-0 at the end of extra-time and into penalties.

And I have a sneaking suspicion that Everton will edge it on spot-kicks.

That has to have been written by a Chelski retard who has had his head smashed by Millwall on a regular basis back in the day. That or he's 15 and only thinks football started in 2002.

I do like the paragraph about how we play defesively and give niggling fouls away…just like they did against Barca in the semi's when they had 10 men behind the ball and didn’t play "open" football?

Melt. Plain and simple.
