After reading about your Cheif Executive making a formal complaint about ticket allocations for the FA cup (which i totally agree with).....
Everton chief executive Robert Elstone will table a motion on the allocation of FA Cup final tickets at the Premier League's next meeting.
The Blues are upset they have just over 25,000 tickets for the Wembley showpiece against Chelsea on 30 May.
Elstone told BBC Radio Merseyside: "The fact that 40,000 people out of 90,000 don't care who wins or loses the final is disgraceful.
"I'm going to table a motion that looks to review and revise the allocation."
......i started to think about the League playoffs & how the clubs get a huge allocation as the prawn vol au vent brigade aren't interested.
Millwall & Gillingham have both sold in excess of 40k ticks for their respective matches (proably approaching 45k). Millwalls average home attendance is 8900 & for Gillingham it is 5300.
The CC final allocation for Spurs & Man U was around 32k each. I think Spurs received some ridiculous amount of applications (i cant recall the number off hand - i will look it up later) although admittedly the Chelsea ones the previous season went on general sale (plastics.....).
Something needs to be done! [Poor language removed] the corporates! I realise they are a cash cow but for fans of clubs like Spurs & Everton these occasions are rare enough without the real fans having to miss out on a ticket.
