Sad really that the ref has ruined the game .

Commentator said straight red for that challenge which is just as ridiculous as the penalty got to feel for the young blues

Personally I agree they've worked hard but either the coaching is appalling or they collectively lack composure and enjoy not having the ball

I’d say coaching is a big problem just like tait at under 21 level.
Hopefully the new academy people coming into the club will be ruthless and sort it out

I think the commentator is a big fan of refs so has always tried to lobby for the refs which is childish. Guy was trying to make up reasons for the red that didnt exist. Emile said it wasnt a pen and refused to comment on the card? Probably doesnt want to upset the superfan.

Giving a penalty and a separate red without a single foul being committed is some going to be fair.

I mean losing is never good but it's more palatable when you see a plan of action in place. Everytime I watch our youth sides they are allergic to passing the ball to each other and lack composure in their play so it all becomes aimless. Sure tonight the ref has done us rotten but we would of lost anyway with the way we kept turning possession over

I take it you have seen the league table? Obviously we want to aim to be the best, but nit always possible, sometimes you come up against really good teams , and well over recent years Chelsea and Man City have been dominating youth football with the resources they have. Some good prospects in this young Everton team and there is ni shame losing when you lose the right way, working hard and facing the opposition head on - but to have it taken away in this manner when they have given there all is cruel. I applaud there performance and hope to see a few of these lad.progress in the next few years
