Everton Youth Teams Thread

No point in having a youth academy whilst Moyes is at the club. what message does it send out to promising youngsters when we have a 40m kid sat on the bench wasting away.

….maybe they’ll look more at Harrison Armstrong, who is an actual Academy graduate and very much part of the first team set-up. Given what we’ve seen of Tyler Dibling, his lack of game time might be more to do with Dibling than it is to do with Moyes ;)

You seem to be one of the regular academy posters. What do you make of it? Is this a change for the better or do we need to see who comes in next?

I may be being a bit simplistic but surely making the academy one of the best should be a priority as it will save £££ in the log run if we can bring more players through.
Impossible to know whether it's for the better for a good while. Tait was not as bad as some would have you believe but he could be improved on at least in theory, whether it happens in practise is another matter. It'll be some fresh voices hopefully if nothing else, though the new manager isn't exactly coming in to coach a great crop.

The academy is already one of the top 7 or 8 in the country, it's all irrelevant if you have a manager and culture unwilling to take risks on giving them chances
