Everton Youth Teams Thread

Never been particularly impressed with Uniteds squads at U18 level for the 5 years I've been watching.

I wouldn't be surprised to see that Everton Academy graduates make up the most players in professional football in 10 years time. Or thereabouts at least.

The minimum standard of Evertons graduates has increased year on year to the point where you could say that most of the players could go on to a League One / Two level at least if released or sold on.

Increase the minimum standard and it surely makes it easier for players to reach the top.

So how many of these lads should be heading out on loan once the window re opens for loans to the football league

Ledson has played under 21 football for the last 2 years so id say he needs to make another step up and get a loan similar to Kenny

Pennington did great at Coventry and got his debut against Barnsley a few weeks ago but I can see Browning being preferred to him so maybe a championship club?

Galloway once Baines/Oviedo returns to fitness would it be worth sending the lad out to a championship club maybe MK Dons to continue his game time

Id like to see Browning go out for some game time also but with his need as forst team cover at centre back and right back it may be leave us short

Henen I would like to see him get some game time in the championship too but with his injury record are teams willing to take a chance and wasting a loan?

The likes of Walsh, Connolly, Robinson, Dowell, Davies, Holgate could probably do with another year with the u21s then maybe look at a loan next year

Ledson's 18, maybe Martinez wants to wait and have him around the first team here before sending him out on loan.

Galloway should under no circumstance leave, as both Baines and Oviedo are fragile right now, it would seem.
