Have they won every game so far this season?

Believe so! Saw them at Altrincham where they beat United 3-1 comfortably. They won at Sunderland away last weekend i think and they've put 3 today past Stoke with ease.

They'll be in the mix come playoff time at the end of the season.

When you consider we didn't play Holland, Yates, Davies, Dyson, Ledson, Dowell, Walsh, Thorniley, Connolly, Lavery (plus countless others) it shows what a strong group we have at U18 level.

The PL U18 league use 1sept as a cut off date, but the International teams use 1 Jan. This produces some odd quirks like Ledson , Kenny not being available for our U18, and those born Sept-Dec available but in the same international age group e.g. Connolly playing U19, as would Walsh and Dowell if selected. This shows up in their scholar group which is defined by school leaving age . So in last years scholars for example we had players like Connolly, Dowell and Davies playing international at U18, Yates, Holland , Davies , Broadhead roughly six months younger playing u17. As you say, though those of 18 and under are proving to be a strong group again.

I like Robinson whenever I've seen him. He's got weird body movements but he's fast and strong just moves differently, hard to get the ball off too.

I think it's Dowell. The kid is injured at the moment but the pre season game showed his ability with the first team.

My mates been telling me for a couple of years to watch out for him, he knows him.

Also top bloke I know at the match, goes all the time to watch the youth and we always discuss how they're getting on. He thinks it's Dowell as well.

Also posted in International thread but thought worth posting here too "Getting Jones was in the Wales u21 squad that beat Luxembourg , James Graham and Nathan Broadhead in Wales u19 squad that drew 1-1 with Portugal. Can't find any match reports indicating if and how they played.

I know he's only 16 but I've not been that impressed with him in the two games I saw him for the U21s.

In any event I think the player RM is referring to is Dowell.

1-1 draw, I'm sure we all know the above says that Nathan Broadhead and the goalkeeper were the best players.
