Honestly, not many had a great game. Niasse wasn't amazing, but he's effort was outstanding and was my MofM. Kenny should have consideration as well.

But man, there were some real stinkers out there.

Given the absence of Tom Cleverely's name from the MotM poll I've had to opt for Niasse.

Single handedly dragged us back into the game through sheer effort and determination.

Maybe more importantly than the actual goal itself, he got the crowd rocking and the atmosphere probably helped spur the rest of the team on.

Niasse.

But so depressing that here we all are ,week after week, discussing half our under 23 team (who are now basically our first team) and niasse as striker. Who would have thought we would be doing that after 150m spent in summer and in a year when we were supposed to be having a shot at top 4!!!

This the most depressing season I have have experienced.:coffee:

Oumar. Not gonna push us for CL but he’s everything you want when you’re in trouble. Doesn’t shy away, doesn’t give up, doesn’t listen to negativity, he plays full balls to the best of his ability and gets off good shots. He’ll keep us up this season and be remembered fondly.

We rode our luck here. The game showed why you need a good keeper - Niasse's goal was clearly the keeper's fault. The third goal came with a Holebas slip that somehow brought Lennon down with him.

The game also shows Pozzo family's recruitment policy is still superior and can consistently punch above its weight. On another day Richarlison would have scored a hat-trick.

I feel like because DCL scored and Lennon got the penalty that Lookmans influence when he came on has been overlooked...

Asiisted Niasses goal but more importantly was snapping at heels in the midfield and turning the tables into attack.... i think HE was a large part of the difference

Vlasic and Lookman surely have to line up together at some point...

Also once again Niasse and DCL prove to be the upfront partnership

Unsy deserves a lot of credit too. First sub (Lookman) changed the game, second sub (DCL) scored the equaliser and third sub (Lennon) won the pen for the winner.
