Bouncing out of a bear pit Goodison with 3 points in the bag and a sliver of hope. These games are what we do it for, but Christ... it's not for the faint hearted.
If Lukaku had a fraction of Oumar's heart he'd be the player he thinks is. The lad has earned the right to hold his head high in our backyard. Shame on you Ronald Koeman, shame on you.

Imagine how good he could be if he had his own locker....

Can only be Niasse for me. When all the other heads were down and gone, he was still up and at them showing the passion and desire that is worthy of the blue shirt. Doesn't matter that he isn't the most technically gifted as he makes up for it with his non stop efforts and his unorthodox approach leaves defences confused. If he doesn't know what he is going to do with it, then how can defenders know. He is a goal poacher/scorer which is exactly what is needed from a striker. There is no doubt that it is Niasse that won us this game today. He injected a spark into the game when it was desperately needed.

Oumar: resilience, courage, passion, heart, fight and a never say die attitude. He might not be a world-beater, but I love watching him play.

In a truly worrying period with a team full of questionable character, it's reassuring to know that we have players like Oumar who will be up for the fight if needed.

A credit to the club. Not the most talented player but shown unbelievable resilience after the way he was handled by Koeman and the ridicule he got from certain sections of the fanbase and shown that he has something to offer and can score a few goals.
