Imagine if every other player played with the heart and joy Oumar plays with? The lad is fearless in everything he does. Without him we’d get relegated for sure. He turned the Bournemouth game and this one. He’ll turn even more throughout the year.

He and Lookman have to play. They just have to from here on out.

Niasse has to be man of the match today. Like everyone has said he isn’t the most conventional player by any stretch of the imagination but my god he has the heart of a lion. I was at a firework display listening to it upsetting parents for celebrating like an idiot

Niasse for me. Thought Kenny did very well today also; especially considering that he wasn't really getting the support and guidance during the game that he should from the more experience Defenders around him.

I went for JonJoe, because i think he came of age today! Very togh game for him facing up to a lad who likes like he might be the find of the season in Richarlison. jonJoe played his socks off and demonstrated that given patience our U23 lads can pull, through and do the business. Oumar was all energy and heart, but i feel that JJK deserves a shout out today!

Oumar worked his socks off, but Kenny, for a very good footballing performance, gets my vote.
Thought he played really well today and has gradually been getting better since Unsworth came in. He's growing in confidence and was the best player in our back 4, which doesn't say a lot for the senior pro's! Also thought Beni was our best midfielder until he went off.

I voted Lennon just because I like his efforts.
Omar man of the match really
He won that penalty which was massive. Like Niasse he puts a shift in. These two should be starting at present if for no other reason that we really need players who are going to put the effort in. No time for passengers.

Oumar all day long, although I did say in the match thread that Richarlison was our best player in the first half! A mention for the referee today though as, unlike most of his colleagues these days, he kept his yellow card in his pocket.
