Was thinking that when I saw the teamsheet for tonight's game mate, hopefully Koeman will have it sorted before the prem games come.

I think it's more about team selection.
I think we have the players, though we definitely need more, but they need to be played right.

We can't have DCL wide and then try and use him as a target man. Koeman got that wrong. It's a square peg in a round hole when it wasn't needed.

The Slovakian outfit were a lot better than many expected. They would be a mid table PL standard I reckon. So, whilst it was far from a perfect performance, we beat a damn good team who look well coached.
If we park the bus at their gaffe, we might just nick this tie.
Fingers crossed

Surely you jest?

League 1 at the very most.

Wasn't a great match but not going to froth about it or criticise every player. I am going to support and back them. Some good performances and some rusty performances. They have to score at least 2 goals to beat us and if we score one it's game over IMO. One thing I would say is Koeman should go and d4kyxx should manage and coach the team because he is all knowing and has a few 'told yer so' tucked away in his locker ready to use like the kid he is.

In the sh@t here yknow

Going there only 1-0 up. Can see this ending in tears

Did say time and time again that we needed more pre season games going into this one!! I could see it coming so obvious when we aren't fit

Mate tonight was our 4th game in just two weeks having only been back in training for a little over 3 weeks, we would have had to have played within 2-3 DAYS of being back to fit the schedule, or played again this weekend like we are next week. We've never had the squad to be doing what the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and the Manchester clubs do EVERY summer by making ridiculously long flights across the world in short time to play nothing more than money spinners. I mean what was the point exactly of Arsenal playing Chelsea in Singapore? Having a Manchester derby in America? City playing Spurs there at the weekend? That tournament the PL stage every 2 years that we've appeared in twice

Tonight was exacally as I expected it to be. The lads were obviously in pre-season mode and played like it. Early days and obviously we can't really judge anyone based on that. The important thing is we got the result and kept the clean sheet. I'm far more confident about the away leg then I was tonight. Satisfied.

In the last round Ruzomberok lost 1-0 to Brann in the first leg then won 2-0 nil in the second. Oh dear.

Sandro needs to start the next game instead of DCL. We really need a striker too, don't think Rooney is still good enough to be the main man up top.

'sake mate. They are one of the worst outfits we'll see at Goodison all season.
