Yeah, that definitely happened. I once went to the Etihad and saw three City fans simultaneously shoot a little Evertonian Toffee Girl in the face and eat her brains, before putting her skull on a stick and slowly dancing to a Stone Roses song. You could tell they were city fans because they had shaved sides and greasy fringes and baked bean stains on their jarg three stripes.
This was long before the days of the Etihad. It was at the same ground that was wrecked after a semi final between two clubs from your City a few years earlier.

But no, it couldn't be true. Everton fans are all innocent, welcoming saints who've never been involved in any crowd trouble or anti social behaviour since the start of time. The people's club, init.

Mad wasn't it? I actually had footage of it on my phone but had to delete it to record an 18 yo female city fan take out her false teeth so she could better perform fellatio on a stray dog.

Hah, we all have mad fans don't we @Manc ??

You can say that again. The most bemused I've been in a football related circumstance was seeing a Sunderland fan having a [Poor language removed] down an alley way. Must have been bursting.

If I've missed this earlier in the thread then please let me off...

What did people think of the way we played when Coleman went off? That patience and confidence in possession?

I'm not getting carried away...but that sort of maturity is exactly what was missing v Leicester, v Bournemouth and v Stoke.

Have we turned a corner?

Terrifying stuff...

They all look about 14, probably their first away day. YOOF.

Buzz off mate. It's not for you to determine whether or not someone is intimidated of a group of men spoiling for a fight.

All Everton fans are not saints, but you cannot condone that video and the fact you try to speaks volumes.

'Massed brawl', my backside. Have they entered for Strictly Come Dancing? They were waltzing around without a partner. Hope you looked at the poll? If you have no need to turn up for the second leg.

I said before the match I think we needed a 2-0/ 3-1 win to have given us that 2 goal cushion going to there place. Really hope we defend as well as we did yesterday/Martinez gets his tactics right.

Hope Kompany is still out for them and aguero picks up a knock in the coming weeks! For me I can see a 2-1 city win and it going to the wire on penalties.

I'd ignore a lot of the knee jerk comments about last night. From the sounds of things, a minority of your support let your fanbase down but that can happen in big away followings. We are no different and anyone claiming otherwise is either deluded or a liar.

I've been at games where a minority of our own fans have tarnished the name of our away support too. Doesn't mean it's reflective of us all.

Blackburn away the other year there was a video of some of our younger lot singing about Sturridge being a N*****. At Kings Cross some Evertonians caused some trouble but the Social Media rumours sounded like they got out of hand with women and children stories. For the record, I didn't see any of it last night, so not saying what did or didn't happen, but even if one or two spat at women (which is of course disgraceful and inexcusable), 1 out of 4,800 isn't a cause to judge the whole away support. We will have fans who let us down in the return leg.

Every club has their good and bad fans.

City's tradiational fanbase is very similar to ours. As you said yourself though, you seem to have picked up more similar out of town supporters with no connection to the club that you used to hate your neighbours for, as we do ours.

That was excellently put. You've summed up what I was attempting to say.

I have some acquaintances from both Everton and Liverpool FC through the FSF. 2 of whom I know have been influential in campaigning on numerous fronts to better the experience of regular match going fans. I feel it's a shame that some people seem keen to drag the majority down when a group of idiots spoil the fun for everyone, whereas no-one ever drags the majority 'up' when a handful of their supporters do something amazing!

This went on for ages mate and there were plenty of older fellas who should have known better involved.
Well anyone who's going out of their way to intimidate someone else at a sporting event is obviously an idiot. The only thing you can hope for is that they either mature or get what they deserve; a slap of someone biggger than them, or a knock on the door from the bobbies!

Anyway, I'm going to stop posting on here for today. I feel I've over stayed my welcome haha. In reference to my earlier post, it genuinely wasn't meant to be a wind up, just my honest assesment of the game and what I think will happen in the next leg!

Let's wait and see. Whoever goes through in our semi, I'll be cheering on in the final.
