I always park at the leisure center about 15 mins walk down the dual carriage way so I'd have missed it then.

I've been to games before where I've seen two Everton fans punch a man to the ground whilst his kid (who couldn't have been older than 10) stood and watched in disbelief. Followed by a gang of scrotes kicking him on the floor and robbing his kids scarf and hat.
