You are probably right mate, but will they tolerate missing that many chances when it matters. For me nowhere near as good as he, his dad and agent think. Has the potential but needs to improve.

But if you read the comments here or in the latest match thread it's getting ridiculous. He's a disrepectful striker with a terrible first touch and everyone's happy to see hime leave.

And it is forgotten that for 80-90% of this season he's been great and has actually kept us in the PL almost singlehandedly.
I'm incredibly frustrated with his (scoring) performance tonight ... but I'm also getting fed up with some of the comments about him. These days it is impossible to be 100¨an entire season. We just don't have any backup.

He had a shocker and cost us the game. That's the be all end all of it. Four glaring chances, arguably five.

He threw in the towel after the international break, and this belated attempt to pick up his form saw an inevitable end result in his sharpness.

this might be why Everton have the problems of losing when it really counts, letting goals in late .. because Evertonians are used to it and expect it, therefore the collective mentality makes it happen.

A sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. If those players are worrying about getting it wrong, they'll get it wrong. I said so earlier in the thread.

....not sure about the criticism of Lukaku. As folk know on here I don't like his penalties but at least he put his foot through it. He missed chances but that happens. Cleverley was so like I've seen before, getting in great positions and a poor finisher. I wanted us to be in it at 70 mins and we were but Martial was the best player on the pitch and probably deserved his moment.

A door closes, now let's be positive and start the Moshiri regime.

Problem with the pen though, Lukaku might as well have just pointed to De Gea where he was going to put it.

I couldn't care less if we lose Stones,Lukaku and Barkley they have been poor for weeks and don't really look like they care that much.Del,Lennon, Joel and Besic look like they do. If we can get 100 odd million for the 3 and get Martinez gone. As good manager will sort this club out.
