Considering he has no pace and hasn't really played all season he did very well, just a decent passer who make's himself available for the ball.

We actually did. That second half was tremendous.

Fking hell that's hard to take, I thought the lads were absolutely unreal in that second half. Stones was superb bringing the ball out of defence, Jagielka with a brilliant display as well. The better team lost, the sooner the cancerous Martinez is sacked the better. Rom wasn't fit to wear the shirt today, horrible performance. I hope the next era is a lot less heartbreaking than this one. Nil Satis Nisi Optimum!

Does that strike you as rational selection? Pick a CM who can drop back and cover the CB.... who is coming forward to play CM because the guy you picked to play there can't run?

Robles, Jags, Stones played well today. Others were average. Cleverly started getting about but missed a couple of chances, Lukaku was a handful but wasteful with numerous chances. 1st half we stood off and admired them 2nd half we got players forward and looked a threat but still looked wide open in the midfield and defence. Wonder what our new manager will do with this crew.
