I was going off the same logic the poster applied as he stated ‘4 of the youth are in the first team squad’ which implies davies, Kenny, Holgate and Calvert-Lewin are still youth players.

Of the 2 squads today, that would then be: Jones, Foulds, Baningime, Vlasic, Lookman, Charsley, Feeney, Garbutt, Walsh, Adeniran, Henen.

People may argue about Vlasic, but he was signed as a youth player. And Garbutt has never really come through so I’d argue is still seen as youth by many.

without klassen, keane and sandro we have improved.

I'm not saying they aren't good players, but trying to shoehorn them all in every week obv wasn't working.

lennon for me has been terrific, he puts a full shift in and alltho his final pass isn't always the best he never shys away from the ball or moving it forward with pace

I agree. But there are many who still think he is about to come through and solve our left back problem. As I said, people still consider him as youth as he has never made the breakthrough.
