ooh i wonder who will win?

hopefully we will get to find out the teasm, be interesting

i'm going for an everton win or maybe a draw
This was a regular event pre season from the late 1950,s Everton reserves would play the first team who played in white shirts a certain brilliant young Brian Labone made his name then hardly giving Dave Hickson the cannonball kid a kick of the ball - it's a great idea and should be reincarnated pre season as it used to be!

I know we have a big squad, but if the players used last night are not involved then there surely will be a lot of under 23's involved.

Imagine how dejected Oumar is going to be when they go 10 v 11 cos one side would rather be a man down than pick him.
I think coaches might be picking the teams for them, as funny as it would be to make them all line up and have 2 captains pick them 1 at time.

I hope none of the guys who played last night are involved. It's not like we're entering a busy period of the season or anything.

The players who played in the Europa League game will probably feature, yeh.

I can't imagine any of last nights' starting XI will be involved, but the subs will be.

So probably:

Robles
Stek*
Keane
Jagielka
Baningime
McCarthy*
Besic
Klaassen
Sandro
Vlasic
Bolasie*
Lookman
Mirallas
Niasse

They should all be involved, depending on fitness*

Almost the side that won 3-0 away in cyprus perhaps with loads of subs etc!

..aside from this ‘trial’ game for fringe players, I hope the powers that be are still tuned into the performances of loanees. This was included in the scope of Joe Royle’s post but i’m not sure who’s responsibility it is now. I imagine the vast majority of loanees are in the shop window (including Browning, Galloway, Robinson and Williams) but a couple (Dowell and Connolly) might be considered as having a chance.

I’ve not heard Allardyce talk about the loanees, it would be good if he was asked ( particularly about Dowell who now has 9 goals from midfield for Forest).
