I had a mate at finch farm today (not a blue)......

Said:

Kev M was the most disinterested player there. didnt want to know.

keane bagged a header.

Bolasie looked good, but could tell he'd been out a while.

Rooney turned up later to watch.

(nothing ground breaking there i know).

....while he waited for his taxi to arrive no doubt.

it is quite interesting to see the team performing much better without the summer signings near the first team.

without klassen, keane and sandro we have improved.

I'm not saying they aren't good players, but trying to shoehorn them all in every week obv wasn't working.

lennon for me has been terrific, he puts a full shift in and alltho his final pass isn't always the best he never shys away from the ball or moving it forward with pace

We could do well remembering this when we are recruiting players in january, keep it minimal

Sandro scored a brace.

Genuinely.

Really still hopeful that he gets a chance, we could be letting a really great prospect go if not careful.

His confidence would have been shot to pieces when he first joined as the team were awful and the atmosphere disjointed and almost toxic!

Would hate to see him go back to Spain and start slotting again for somebody else, there is obviously a decent player in there.

a striker is all we should be bringing in in january unless some boss left back suddenly becomes available. i dont want our massive collection of crap added to with average players like van aanholt.
