I absolutely love this guy. I know his all round game and ability is in question, but I have watched his first goal here about 20 times. Its class all the way through. He wins the ball in midfield, makes something out of completely nothing, drives towards goal with pace, plays a good ball to Davies, continues his run to give Davies a person in an attacking position to pass too, his first touch is great - then he unleashes a great shot. He may never be a world class player, by my word he was Everton class today through and through with a goal ANY present, or even previous player would have been proud of.

And his second - good positional sense and a poachers goal. Play him, from the start. He deserves that, no less.

Watch it from this angle. Its even better. His surging run into the box to take the return pass and his first touch is fabulous. Oh, and I missed his first one-two at the start of the move in my previous post.

Niasse made that first goal. Tracked back, won it, passed, recieved and slotted it home.

Went to my first game in about 12 months today. Would say the following:
Pickford - quality, u can see the defence trust him. His kicking is very positive
Baines - still classy but far from the dangerous wing back he once was
Holgate - steady
Williams - poor, doesn't look premiership quality to me. Slow and looks to hoof it each time
Martina - his crossing was poor today, seems a bit of a liability
Morgan (can't spell snchiderline) - looked well up for it, quality touch and great battling. Thought he was quite negative in parts though passing side wards or backwards a lot
Ghana - classy player but a bit sloppy in parts today (he and Morgan are quite negative together for a game at home esp against someone like Bournemouth?)
Sigurdsson- worked hard, disappointing set pieces, needs a goal for confidence?
Klassen - really disappointed. Can't see what he does? Looks weak physically and was well off the pace
Rooney - I was made up to see him back in blue. Committed performance, he clearly still has a lot of talent, looked good behind dcl
Dcl - pleased to see him playing with passion and non stop running. Looked isolated at times but never gave up
Davies - fast becoming my favourite player. Composed and positive with a lot of passion. Should have started instead of klassen
Kenny - I think he looks a better option than martina
Niasse - only in the crazy world of 2017, when the leader of the free world is an orange coloured buffoon, could niasse cone on and score twice!! Gobsmacked, he looked good! Showed some steel and good ability!

Overall, good in patches, worrying that we struggled against Bournemouth at home though.

He looks much improved, touch, control, awareness this is down to Silva, Unsworth & the player. Think he can bag double figures this season, no problem.
