Watching that first goal again. He gets a dodgy pass on the left, we lose possession, he chases back, wins it back, passes, gets in the box, gets on the end of a great pass, and slots.

So simple yet effective.

DCL was great and would have been MOTM had scored that close range effort.
Tempted by Pickford, if he hadn't saved Defoe's shot we would not have come back into it. Poor distribution today though.
Martina didn't do bad, but Kenny and the other young lads were having so much success down the right linking up together.

Have to go Oumar. He might not do anything fancy, he might not charge past defenders like Rom did but he can smash the ball into the net and that's what we've been lacking.

Can't see past Niasse. Made up for him and take it all back. Pickford was good at saving but his distribution was horrible, so rushed and weird for him. Davies made a difference and Morgan looked shaper, Gana gave the ball away far too much. Absolutely no need for them both to be playing when we're one nothing down to Bournemouth at home, is there? Koeman is messing with my head, I don't get him. All was well in the end, and big- up DCL. Heard he's left that mega bird he had? Shame.
