We won like.......

But I thought we were still a shambles at the back and thought they would have a goal attempt every time they went forward.

Enjoying the moment. Until the next time.

Swallows and summers.

I want it to be Dyche.

I think he's the best available at the moment to suit our current predicament.

I'd love Tuchel, but I'm not convinced he'd sort our main issues out. We need a structure and a base to build from. I think Dyche would do that.

But, it looks like it's going to be Sam. I don't want it to be, but it just shows what a mess we're in.

But let's not gloss over it Zat. The last four games have, on the whole, been just as bad as the proceeding four. No style, no plan, no real system or idea of how to play. Just hoping for a bit of luck and we got that yesterday and we put in a really spirited display.

Id be gutted if it was Dyche...

While I'm not having a go Zat, as like I said he's still not my first choice, why?

He's proved himself to be a good manager. He's defensively solid and operates with a consistent shape and system that gives his side balance - a bit of everything.

He would be under no illusions as to just the size of the project and the tradition of the club. He'd certainly 'get' Everton.

There's also this idea he's a negative manager. He isn't, he may be pragmatic, but not to the extent that it's knife to a gunfight.

His side isn't even particularly long ball, either. And he isn't afraid to play younger players if needed.

Given we're 15th, I'm not having any illusions of grandeur from anyone. We're crap, at the moment.

Were 4pts off 8th having played all the top teams...and have palace next.

Its not emergency time yet...I feel someone should tell unsworth to play vlasic and lookman on the wings and we'll build momentum.

Not an emergency Zat, no. But I feel Dyche would be a good long-term appointment as well.

Him and Tuchel, for me, are the two realistic front runners. But I feel Dyche would be a better fit for us.

We can't stick with Rhino. We got lucky yesterday. Cleverley scores and today would be a lot different in here.

I would love to see a few games wit those two starting! :)

See the way you describe Dyche is similar to how I'd say Big Sam does things except we could probably rid ourselves of Big Sam once the time comes and not be stuck with Dyche and upper mid table at best. His way of playing is never going to consistently bring results but won't get you in trouble either and eventually we need to move past that.

I don't understand why people think our penalty was "dodgy". Lennon was brought down in the area (like he was in the previous game for no reward). Raheem Sterling and others have been winning penalties for years by falling over in the area from little or no contact.
