...Spurs are very good but I think folk underestimate us when they predict we are in for a hiding. Spurs will look on this as a tough game, it’s an interesting one because we haven’t yet had the challenge of playing one of the better teams at home.

I’m thinking we’ll need a couple of goals to be competitive but it could be a decent game.
My problem with that, and the reason I think we might get thumped, is that we just don't do it against the big boys. We'll have a go for 40 minutes and then concede and then fall apart as usual. Hope I'm wrong of course. I really would love us to get right into these and be 2 up by half time, just to put out a bit of a statement.

Son will start I think as he has more nonsense internationals coming up for S.Korea and will miss a few games in the near future.
Welp.
Palace beat City, Leicester beat Chelsea yet people on here don't think we can beat spurs at home. We are losers cereal losers, the stink of the 90's still wafts around our team and fans, bloody 40 points and the quarter final of a cup is good enough for some fans.
I could go round saying 'we're going to thrash Spurs' but I'd look pretty stupid if we didn't. I'm just trying to be realistic. They are a very, very good side.

We simply have to take something from this match. Yesterday's results just highlight how unacceptable our results against the top 6 have been.

Their first team played 90 mins mid week and have played 7 other mid week games when we haven't.

We have no major injuries and a manager that has been in place for a good number of matches.

Time to deliver.

Have we fallen apart against the big teams this season though.
Drew with Chelsea, last minute goal against the rs, City was probably the most routine defeat.
But don't think we collapsed in any of them been honest

Fair point tbh, I guess I'm just down in the dumps with us atm. I need some of that Xmas cheer, or maybe just ten beers or so.

By nonsense internationals you're referring to the Asian Cup, basically Asia's version of the Euros, It's main continental cup. Sucks it's in the season but I'm sure it's not nonsense to him. Also the risk the club takes when you sign a player within that area. Same issue with Wanyama, Gana for the ACON

Anyway, Spurs W, 0-2.
