I reckon they are full strength (Regillion, Aurier aside as they are injured ) but with Hart in goal as he's played their cup games so far.

A couple of changes only from their last game imo:

Hart
Doherty
Dier
Alderweireld
Davies
Hojdberg
Ndombele
Bergwijn
Lamela
Son
Kane

They have Man City away Saturday morning they have europa league starting up next week, they could make changes

I don't think he planned on playing him much at all, but he got in thanks to Digne's injury and made himself impossible to drop. Keane and Mina are his first choice pairing, but he believes in rotation so he's left both of them out at various times.

...fair enough, but I disagree. i believe Ancelotti and Brands were very keen to introduce pace into central defence as it’s been a glaring issue. It’s why Zouma played so much alongside Keane or Mina, it’s why we’ve been linked with a host of speedier types such as Tomori.

I agree it’s been difficult to introduce Godfrey, but I’m in no doubt the plan has been to get him in situ at the earliest opportunity. Personally, I’ve been like a broken record on here for a long time about the need for pace and power at CB, I think it was as obvious to Brands as it was to me.

Yes it's a tricky one. We've all been going on for ages about getting more pace throughout the team so we can play further up the pitch and press the opposition more. Until this season I suspect most of us would have been happy to see Godfrey replace Mina due to his inconsistency. I've always compared him to David Luiz. However he's been brilliant this season, and is strong in the air, as is Keane. This means that we rarely concede from corners and free kicks, which is a great achievement considering our goalkeeper. I don't think Ancelotti will change that approach this season, and I don't blame him. If we get a fast right back and a couple of other pacy players in the summer we may play further up and Godfrey move to his natural position of Centre back. Until then I would keep playing him at full back, right back when we're in an attacking mode, with Digne at left back, and left back against the better teams with Digne in front of him.

Think we need to play strongest possible team available.

Olsen
Holdgate - The Fabulous Yerry Mina - Ben 'The God' Godfrey - Digne
Tommy D - The Duke - Gomesh
Iwobi/Jameth - DCL - Richarlison

Iwobi/Jameth depending on whether and how we want to impact the game from the bench.

Should be a corker.
